What Does a Purposed Woman Really Look Like?

We often talk about finding purpose like it’s some lost treasure buried deep, only unearthed by the bold, the lucky, or the wildly strategic. But what if purpose isn’t something you have to chase down?

What if it’s already within you found in the things you’re doing today, the dreams you carry quietly, and even the challenges that feel too heavy to hold?

That’s exactly the kind of conversation we’re having in Episode 2 of the Raised Women Podcast: A Purposed Woman. It’s the first episode in our powerful “3 P’s” series: A Purposed, Positioned, and Prepared Woman.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re circling your purpose without fully grasping it confused, unsure, overwhelmed, or worn out, this episode is your reset moment.

It’s for the woman who senses there’s more, but doesn’t know where to begin. It’s for the woman who’s building, growing, praying, dreaming but still wondering why she feels stuck.

Purpose Is Already In Your Hands

Through real talk, biblical insight, and my own life experiences I am reminded that purpose isn’t just about big stages or breakthrough moments. It’s also in the everyday. In the conversations we have. The projects we start. The relationships we tend to. Purpose is not a place we arrive, it’s how we show up, and it displays itself through the journey.

“Purpose doesn't always arrive in the form of wholesome, perfect, shiny moments — it can show up in the uncomfortable ones too.”
– Tash

Purpose in the Overflow

If you explore Matthew 14 you will see that Jesus, is grieving the death of John the Baptist, a close relative connected with His purpose and yet He still chooses compassion. He shows up for the crowd, performs miracles, feeds thousands all while processing deep loss. Why? Because when you walk in purpose, it strengthens you to pour out even when your cup feels empty. It helps you find clarity and capacity beyond what you thought possible.

The Sweet Spot of Clarity

I have also discovered that I truly believe when you understand purpose you will realize you actually already have one and it turns up and shows itself through everything you do. It's what your passionate about, what can tick you off, or your key strengths as a woman. Most of our frustration comes from wanting to know how can we operate at our optimum in it. How do we know we are outwardly working within it, how do we exercise it, how can we be most efficient within it. The game changer for me was discovering Sweet Spot Analysis. By mapping out passions, values, skills, and what the world needs, I uncovered my unique intersection and sweet spot: Building Community. When ever this sweet spot comes up I know I will always thrive and that my purpose is at work.

A Purposed Woman Is…

Aware that she doesn’t need to search for purpose she lives it.

Grounded in knowing that her ordinary moments carry extraordinary potential.

Courageous enough to act, even when she’s unsure.

Humble enough to reflect and recalibrate when things don’t feel aligned.

Bold enough to inspire others simply by being herself.

She knows that purpose isn’t always glamorous sometimes it’s gritty. It pushes you, grows you, and stretches you beyond what you thought was possible.
